First login

After setup there is no account yet. The login page creates it, but only after it has delivered a test email to the administrator address. Without working mail delivery there would later be no login codes, no alarms and no emergency access.

1. Open the login page. After setup click Continue to sign-in or open https://<your-address>/ui/login.php. The page is called Set up SmartFleet.

2. Choose the delivery method. Under Mail delivery:

   • sendmail (set up on this server), if your host offers it (usually stated in its help pages).
   • SMTP account, otherwise. Enter host, port, user, password and encryption. You get these details from your host or your mail provider.

3. Send a test email. Click Use sendmail and test or Enter this SMTP account and test. The email goes to the administrator address from setup. With Change you can use a different address.

4. Enter the code. The email contains a Confirmation code, valid for fifteen minutes. Check your spam folder as well.

5. Create the account. Enter email and password and click Create account. This first account has the role Owner.

If no email arrives, choose Didn't get a mail? Use a different address or account and try the other delivery method.
