Muting

When you work on an installation, switch Miniservers off or reprogram them, alarms arise that nobody needs. That is what muting is for.

  1. On the site page open the Alarm management tab and click Mute.
  2. Choose how long: 1 hour, 4 hours, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

While muted, the site sends no alarm emails. It stays visible in the overview, and events continue to be collected. The button shows until when muting applies. Lift muting ends it earlier.

Muting is allowed from the role Administrator upwards.
